Cross Country skiing is a "lifetime" sport suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities. This sport is relatively injury free, is low impact, activates all the body's major muscle groups and is excellent for the cardiovascular system. Physically, it is an ideal activity and provides an excellent cross training sport to many summer activities. Most importantly, it's really fun!
The children's fitness tax credit came into effect on January 1, 2007. Click here to see if you can apply for this.
Currently the Overlander Ski Club offers the following programs:
Ski League (Lessons) (ages 3 - 12)
$40 / season ($50 after Dec 1, 2006)
Junior Development (Competition-Focused Training - ages 12 - 18)
$60 / season
Teen Recreational (ages 12+)$35 / season
Beginner and Advanced Adult Lessons
$40 / 4 lessons
