Trail Etiquette
Obey all signs and ski within your ability.
All trails are two way. Please ski on the right.
Please fill your sitz-marks.
Skaters: please avoid the classic tracks.
Help keep the area clean - if you pack it in, pack it out.
If you happen to fall, fill in your hole and fix the track.
When stopping, move to the side of the trail.
Skiers coming downhill have the right-of-way.
Slower skiers should give way to faster skiers.
Faster skiers should give a courteous warning when passing slower skiers.
Pass with courtesy; call "track".
Ski on trails suited to your ability.
Snowshoers: please avoid the trails.
If trail grooming is in progress, please don’t ski on the fresh tracks immediately.
Help us build Stake Lake into an even better ski area, buy a membership or seasons pass, and help out as a volunteer!
