Program
The program is primarily focused on grades 3, 4 and 5.
Lessons will take place at Stake Lake, a 25 minute drive from Kamloops.
All instructors have at least the Community Coaching Certification in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
The goal of the Overlander Ski Club School Program is to ensure that kids have a safe, fun, affordable and memorable experience learning how to ski at the Overlander Ski Club trails.
Classes with different age groups are also welcome to visit the Stake Lake Ski Trails and may be able to participate in the Ski School Program subject to equipment and coach availability. Rental equipment may be arranged at local ski shops.
The Ski School Program equipment will accommodate grades 3, 4 and 5.
The Ski School Program will show your students how to maximize their enjoyment on the trails.
The program is educational and is also designed to develop social skills that are so important at these ages.
There will be opportunities to learn:
Safety on the trails
Basic ski skills
Interaction in a group setting
Our instructors are friendly, eager to help, and are committed to doing whatever it takes to make your students have an enjoyable visit to Stake Lake Cross Country Ski Area. Our instructors are trained to instruct their groups along the trails in a safe and fun manner.
PRICES
There is
no fee
for school groups. This offer includes a day pass, equipment and a 1.5 - 2 hour lesson.

Instructors are not responsible for supervision of the students.
Please note that adult equipment is not available for rent on site at the trails at this time.
Equipment can be rented at Funstuff or Spoke n’ Motion.
